The Triple A has predicted that more than 31.5 million people may hit the roads to get to those far out barbecues and family functions. But with gas almost at $4 a gallon in most places it seems to be a little excessive for so many people to hit the road.
Historically Memorial day has been a big day for families to come together on the long weekend. Also there will be many different holiday functions like parades and other events that should make it a fun weekend.
Also for some parts of the country this weekend will be the first sign of summer. I am living in the east and I look forward to the summer beginning.
