Jon Lester pitched a no-hitter on Monday while playing the Kansas City.  Jon Lester a 24 year old left hander totally shut down Kansas in a 7-0 annihilation.  The game marked the first no-hitter for the young pitchers career.

“Really, words can’t describe it right now,” Lester said.

Fans at Fenway went crazy as the game came to a close.  This is a major accomplishment for this pitcher who overcame cancer to play in the World Series.

“Just trying to finish the game,” Lester said in an on-field interview. “I can’t lie, it went through my head a couple times in the ninth.”

This will mark a defining moment for this pitcher, putting his name in the record books.
